Can't possibly recommend FET electronics enough! Mark is super confident about being able to repair pretty much anything. As well he should be, he's a tech's tech! The turn around time is crazy fast, and his prices are beyond fair. SO happy I found him!!

EXPERT at audio electronics repair! I found Mark this last year and have gone there almost weekly now with some equipment to repair. He's reasonably-priced, fair, knows many types of equipment. Usually done in about a week or so. Many people avoid DAT machines, cassettes, HiFi repairs, mixers, solid-state and tube amps: Mark does these and also old synthesizers, drum machines, effects. I have a recording studio with tons of old gear - he's saved MOST of it by now.

I sent a vintage Sony DAT PCM-R500 (Digital Audio Tape) machine in for mechanism and transport restoration. At first I was a little hesitant. But after speaking with Mark on the phone I felt more confident. I'm thankful I decided to go through with it. Mark performed amazing work on this machine and has been extremely fair and easy to work with. I appreciate the workmanship and good standards. Thank you so much.

Mark is the guru of DAT, possibly one of the last. He can also fix any solid state or tube equipment, sometimes even without schematics! Often has vintage hard to find spare parts on hand, and if it isn't, he will use his expertise and experience to source an appropriate replacement of high quality. He has repaired several vintage amps from the 50's, 60's, and 70's of domestic and foreign make for me. Let's hope he never retires!

Knowledgeable, helpful, fair. My old but good preamp had two problems that were difficult to find (I was interested in how, and I was lucky - he let me watch) but he found and fixed both of them. It now works and sounds great.

I sent my DAT SONY DTC-200ES the best DAT ever built according to experts. I took it to a some repair shops in the Miami area all of them pretty much " sorry sir the transport is dead no more parts are being sold, after seeing the reviews of FET I decided to give it a try, oh man Mark fixed my DAT in a week the turn around was 3 weeks the price was fair, he is the DAT guru. I recommend Mark for your electronic gear no questions asked!!! Thanks Mark!!!!!

Mark (owner, service tech) is probably the last remaining tech in the LA area that can service long-out-of-production and vintage audio gear, including analog and digital tape machines. He knows and LOVES this equipment and is passionate about keeping it working at its best. He is a pleasure to deal with and charges reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I sent in a Sony TCD-D3 for repair and Mark was able to fix it right up! He is the guru at repairing decks and Walkmans! I’m so thankful he is still doing this!

Mark is a pretty amazing engineer and a great technician when it comes to DAT Recorders. I took my Onkyo DT-901 and Sony DTC-59ES for repair as they didn't work and sounded terrible after 25 plus years of its operations. Mark was able to troubleshoot the problems right away at his workbench and turned over 2 working units within 1 day lead time, very amazing. The repair bills were very decent, not too expensive compared to the works (and parts) that he put in. I am so glad to know Mark. Excellent work and thank you so much.

Mark brought my old Sony PS-X55 back to life after being in storage for decades! It had many problems and the gears cracked (direct drive turntable deck). Mark fixed it at a reasonable and fair price. I have since taken my other audio equipment to him for repairs. Mark is the best! Believe me, I have dealt with other audio repairmen (many with egos and attitudes) and Mark is among the top of my list. Definitely recommend!
